Cheers, mates!

As every year around this time, we are getting ready to roll. Things are looking beautiful! So we figured it’d be nice to release this nice anniversary year’s running order! In 2010 most things will be like in the past festival years: We did not change the beverage prices, the deposit system for bottles is the same and of course we will provide you with a little Dong magazine for free so you can check out the bands up front and take a little look behind the scenes.

The Dong Hill will be back not bigger, but better than ever! All construction sites that you might have noticed since 2006 have finally been finished. Take a hike and get up the hill faster on the great new stairway, take a look at the house on the hill and enjoy the fact that we got many more parking lots at the foot of the hill! Also we now have a loop road around the top of the hill which is lit at night. This will look wonderful and ensure that none of you get lost in the dark.

Be fair and don’t leave your trash flying around. Use the bags, cans and containers we provide. Don’t leave any heavy or bulky objects like party tents etc. on the hill. For one thing the hill is a landscape preservation area and lots of trash – especially the stuff that has taken flight to wherever – costs us so much extra. We’d hate to take this out on the festivals’ ticket prices.

Now, take notes of what you really shouldn’t miss out on and keep your fingers crossed everything goes well in our final phase of planning!
